Before we talk about applications or deposits, I want you to know how we work. We are a closed family cattery in Oakville. Our kittens are raised in our home alongside our children, and we keep our litters small on purpose.

The waitlist is how we match families to kittens, not the other way around. You will see your kitten's photos, videos and details at 4-6 weeks of age, before anyone else does, and you decide whether they are the right fit. No pressure, no rush.

Apply and place your deposit

Fill out the Waiting List Application Form and send a $400 non-refundable deposit by e-transfer to goldencharmcattery@gmail.com. Spots are limited.

Meet your kitten

When a kitten matches your preferences, we will reach out with the kitten's profile page so you can view their photos, videos and details.

Step four

Confirm, reserve and bring them home

A second $400 deposit confirms and reserves your kitten. Both deposits apply toward the final price. Kittens go home between 10 and 14 weeks depending on development.

Who Will Be The Owner Of The Kitten?

Reservation Deposit

To reserve your kitten and join our waitlist, we kindly ask for a $400 non-refundable deposit. This deposit reserves your kitten and confirms that you have thoughtfully committed to the adoption process. The deposit should be sent via e-transfer to Please send the deposit via e-transfer to goldencharmcattery@gmail.com and will be deducted from your final payment when you pick up your kitten. Please note that the deposit is required to join the waitlist and secure your chosen kitten.

Note: We use Auto Deposit, so there is no need to set up a Security Question & Answer.
By submitting this form I confirm that I am at least 18 years old and have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in my household. The information I have provided is true and complete and I authorize Golden Charm to verify any statement contained here. I understand that the gender of young kittens is based on early visual examination and may occasionally be misidentified. Final confirmation will be made by a licensed veterinarian before pickup. Estimated pickup dates are based on the queen's expected due date and may shift as the pregnancy progresses. A specific gender, colour or pickup month is not guaranteed. Customers earlier on the waitlist choose first. If no kitten in an upcoming litter matches my preferences, my deposit holds my place for the next litter. I accept that circumstances outside Golden Charm's control may delay placement. These include cases where no kitten in a given litter matches my preferences and rare cases of kitten loss. All communication between Golden Charm and the customer is private and may not be copied, quoted or published (including on review platforms) without written permission.
