How We Select our Queens Cats for Breeding
Each of our British Shorthair/Longhair cats used in our breeding program was carefully selected through the Golden Charm Qualifying Process. We look for healthy, robust males and females that will produce the same type of kitten. We also strive for the most social, well-balanced and happy kittens imaginable. A lot of this comes from their parents. Our adults are chosen for their wonderful temperaments and interaction with their humans.

If her food isn’t served on time, she will stare at you like you’ve committed a crime. If her water isn’t fresh enough, she’ll act like she’s being personally disrespected. And if you sit down, she might allow you the privilege of petting her, but only after she’s inspected your effort. The funniest part is that underneath the grumpy look, she’s a total sweetheart, she loves being pampered, she loves her routines, and she secretly enjoys being close to her people, as long as it’s done properly.
